The Rescue Mission is proud to partner with The Virginia Health Care Foundation who is a public-private partnership dedicated to increasing access to care for uninsured Virginians and those in underserved areas and The Carilion Foundation, Project Access, and Lewis Gale Hospital. The Rescue Mission happily opens our doors to students in various fields of study. We believe that the more exposure students have to the homeless population the better they will be able to serve all in need once they graduate. Currently students from Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Skyline College, National Business College, Virginia Western Community College, Radford University, Notre Dame University, Hollins University, Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, and Roanoke College are gaining experience in our Free Clinic.
