
The Rescue Mission is open to serve 365 days a year. We welcome all who are in need and wish to seek our services.
We are excited to introduce a new system for our Emergency Shelter. This system will be focused on maximizing the potential of each guest in a way that best fits where they are, and what services they are open to.
ENTRY
- Entry point for all new guests
- Will be ongoing, available nightly
- Includes Meals, Emergency Shelter and Fralin Free Clinic Services
ESTABLISH
- For guests who are ready to take advantage of the full services offered by the Rescue Mission and our partners
- Includes all the benefits of Entry plus:
- Case Management
- Guest Development Classes & Coaching
- Chapel & Spiritual Direction
- Each Establish guest will be on an individualized plan with demonstrated progress toward their personal goals and coordinated care from all Mission Services
- Establish guests have the opportunity to serve on a Guest Council to provide input back to staff on needs and improvements

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO STAY IN SHELTER?
Individuals or families wishing to stay the night in the Women and Children’s Shelter need to bring:
- One large suitcase per person
- Medications
- Custody papers, if applicable
Intakes are daily.
Individuals wishing to stay the night in Men’s Shelter are asked to bring:
- One large suitcase per person
- Medications
Intakes will begin when the shelter opens at 4:30pm.
