We would love the opportunity for you to complete your internship with us!

The Rescue Mission of Roanoke is a comprehensive crisis intervention center serving men, women, and children. With the mission of “Helping Hurting People in Jesus’ Name,” our services include: three hot meals daily; emergency shelters; clothing assistance; free clinic offering medical, mental health, dental and vision care for people who are homeless; a grocery box distribution program for food-insecure families in the community; a residential recovery program for individuals living in addiction; an adult education center that has a focus on job skills; and case management services. For children in Family Shelter, there are field trips, tutoring, and after-school activities during the school year and Jubilee Acres Day Camp during the summer (which services a dual purpose of giving parents time to take classes, conduct job and housing searches, etc.).
